For our store in Vienna – Donau Zentrum, we are looking for a Deputy Store Manager who will work closely with the Store Manager and support the daily operation of the store. You will help lead the Beauty Consultant team, support team development, and contribute to achieving store goals.
What will you do?
- Support the Store Manager with daily operations and take shared responsibility for the smooth running of the store.
- Support, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve sales objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure that store processes and procedures are followed consistently.
- Monitor stock levels, work with internal systems, participate in regular inventory checks, and support cash-handling activities.
- Act as a role model for the team and contribute to maintaining high service standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Cooperate with colleagues across different departments, such as HR, Merchandising, Customer Care, Warehouse, and Marketing.
- Bring ideas and actively contribute to improving store operations and customer experience.
What will help you succeed in this role?
- Previous experience in retail, including experience supporting or leading a small team.
- Understanding of sales KPIs and ability to work with figures and business results.
- Knowledge of retail processes and daily store operations.
- Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills.
- Interest in beauty trends, cosmetics, and perfumes.
- Good command of English (preferably B2 level).
- Good command of German (preferably B2 level).
- Ability to work with MS Office and retail systems, including cash desk operations.
- Proactive approach and interest in contributing ideas that support the development of the store and the team.
